Dr. Megan Sprinkle is a Board-eligible Veterinary Nutritionist and works on the Special Services team at BSM Partners. From experience working with a diverse number of species, from dolphins to elephants to dogs, Dr. Sprinkle noticed the power and necessity of optimal nutrition to provide the best care to animals.

After veterinary school at Auburn University and a rotating internship in a private referral hospital in Chattanooga, Dr. Sprinkle completed a small animal Clinical Nutrition Residency at the University of Missouri. Her resident research focus was vitamin D metabolites in cats. After, she worked for Royal Canin for five years where she taught nutrition, helped run the associate onboarding program, consulted with veterinary professionals in customer care, and learned the complexities of the pet food industry. Dr. Sprinkle has served on the Executive Board for the American Academy of Veterinary Nutrition (AAVN) since 2017 and is the current President-Elect.

Dr. Sprinkle has an entrepreneurial spirit. She and her IT husband founded Rise 3D Printing, an education-focused start-up using YouTube and social media to teach hobby 3D printing. You may see their Great Dane Eva as well. She also is the creator and host of the veterinary podcast, Vet Life Reimagined, where she shows the diversity of opportunities for veterinary professionals to create a career they love.
