Dr. Chuck Zumbaugh received his Master's. and PhD from Virginia Tech, with research focused on poultry and beef cattle nutrition. During his master’s degree he studied the effects of plant-based feed additives on growth and nutritional physiology in young turkeys. His PhD work focused on pasture-based supplementation strategies for growing beef cattle and strategies to reduce mycotoxins in harvested forages. Following the completion of his PhD, he completed post-doctoral work at Kansas State University in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry.
