Assistant Manager Nutrition
Dr. Chuck Zumbaugh received his M.S. and PhD from Virginia Tech, with research focused on poultry and beef cattle nutrition. During his master’s degree he studied the effects of plant-based feed additives on growth and nutritional physiology in young turkeys. His PhD work focused on pasture-based supplementation strategies for growing beef cattle and strategies to reduce mycotoxins in harvested forages. Following the completion of his PhD, he completed post-doctoral work at Kansas State University in the Department of Animal Sciences and Industry.
