Amanda Dryer is a packaging professional with more than 15 years of experience supporting dry and wet pet food packaging across large-scale manufacturing and supply chain environments. She brings deep expertise in packaging systems used for high-volume dry pet food production, as well as fresh and wet pet food applications.

Amanda’s experience spans a wide range of packaging formats and technologies, including bagged dry pet food formats, horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) applications, retort cans, cups, tubs, pouches, and cold-chain packaging systems. Her work has focused on packaging performance, supplier qualification, pallet stability, and cost- and efficiency-driven decision-making within production environments.

Prior to joining BSM Partners, Amanda held packaging leadership roles at Simmons Pet Food, where she supported high-volume dry pet food manufacturing operations. Her dry pet food experience includes bag performance, pallet optimization, line efficiency, and supplier qualification within large-scale manufacturing environments. She later served as Packaging Engineer and Packaging Procurement Manager at Nom Nom, a fresh pet food company owned by Royal Canin under Mars Petcare, where she led packaging development and procurement initiatives primarily focused on fresh and wet pet food applications.

Amanda brings a strong focus on practical, execution-driven packaging solutions, with experience in packaging sustainability, recycling systems, and regulatory compliance. She has supported alignment with Mars’ Packaging Quality Management (PQM) standards and contributed to extended producer responsibility (EPR) preparedness efforts, helping brands navigate evolving regulatory and operational requirements.
