What do you do at BSM Partners?
My role as Manager of Companion Animal Nutrition at BSM Partners is to formulate functional diets, supplements, and treats for companion animals. In addition, one of my favorite roles is to do educational write-ups for our clients and consumers. I think my favorite part about it is being able to keep up to date on new and existing ingredients and their functionality in the animal. To be able to take that information and provide the best nutritional advice I can to clients to help them make decisions.
What do you do outside of BSM Partners?
In addition to my job at BSM Partners, my husband and I own and sell bison. Bourbon County Bison is located in Bourbon County, Kentucky. We sell bison meat not just at farmer’s markets, but to local grocery stores here in Kentucky. In addition to the bison farm, for fun, I like to ride and show my horse, Izzy.

In my personal life for the past year, I have been documenting my investment property project on TikTok where I have gained a consistent following. It is a fun way to see the progress of the project and to encourage other young people get involved. The project also instills a lot of patience and mental growth.

What do you do outside of BSM Partners?
I have two boys ages 7 and 11 who keep me very busy. As a family, we are active members of our church and like to ski and mountain bike. I also love music and running though I’m pretty slow nowadays. I still care for patients remotely through diet recommendations and formulations through their veterinarians. In addition, I have my own small supplement company which is a vitamin and mineral chewable for homemade diets. I’m especially proud of being able to do all this with screaming, wrestling children, barking dogs, meowing cats, and screaming birds in the background.
