BSM Partners Welcomes Packaging Engineer to Bolster Expertise, Innovation

BSM Partners, the largest full-service pet care research, consulting, and strategy-to-shelf product innovation firm, is pleased to welcome Amanda Dryer to its growing team. As Packaging Engineering Consultant, Dryer will leverage more than 15 years of experience across diverse formats and applications to drive optimal packaging performance, stability, sustainability, and efficiency for our clients.

Dryer has worked extensively across bagged dry pet food formats, horizontal form-fill-seal (HFFS) applications, retort cans, cups, tubs, pouches, and cold-chain packaging systems. She has also supported brands as they navigate regulatory and operational requirements related to extended producer responsibility (EPR).

Dryer formerly held leadership roles at Simmons Pet Food, where she supported large-scale, high-volume dry pet food manufacturing operations including bag performance, pallet optimization, line efficiency, and supplier qualification. She later joined Mars Petcare and Royal Canin, where she led packaging development and procurement, primarily for the company’s fresh pet food brand, Nom Nom.

Dryer earned her bachelor’s degree in food science from the University of Central Arkansas. She resides in Alma, Arkansas, with her family, and will report into BSM Partners’ headquarters in Lowell, Ark.
